Hi folks! The folks in Spokane are just getting settled in. Grab a cup of coffee, make yourselves comfortable, and hunker down with us for the next little while.

There is a little bit of background noise. If you have any issues with Webex, please use the chat feature through the system and Matt will be able to troubleshoot for you.

We're hearing from Rep. Marcus Riccelli at the moment. He's a member of the House Transportation Committee. Here's some info about him:

To kick off our first discussion item, Brian provided some anecdotal perspective on the history of the board's work and funding, tying both to WSDOT's vision for a mulitimodal transportation future.

Now we're hearing from Assistant Transportation Secretary Marshall Elizer, who will play an integral role with the new board once it's composed. He's currently penciled in to serve as the chair of the board's technical committee.
