Key messages list is great, lots of strong points... just want to add that they each can be complimented by a strong problem statement.  How WA growth could add to congestion if not managed, and all the impacts to quality of life and economy.... etc.  Keith just mentioned something similar to this, to ensure CTR's impacts are conveyed in language that hits home with a larger audience.   Agree!  Agree!

and emphasize ROI and performance!!

Matt shared some ideas about reframing some of the language, but he veered all over the place so quickly that none of us could capture what he has in mind. Let's hope he gathers up those thoughts and shares them with us again.

Ted: We always have to keep in mind what the Legislature wants to hear about: jobs and the economy. We can't let those stray too far from our key messages.

Ricardo: ROI is forever a good thing to highlight.

Oh, and Matt just fired off some thoughts in an email to Keith.

Hi Sarah --- Yes! All salient points, to be sure. As you said, most of them were touched on by folks in the room, but I'll try to find a way to weave them in. Thanks!

OK folks, we're taking a 20-minute break. Please rejoin us shortly after noon for the balance of the meeting. And remember, this is the one in which we're counting on a lot of audience participation!
