Here's an interesting thing: former Transportation Secretary Paula Hammond recently reached out to Brian in order to get some information on leading CTR employers in the Seattle area for a project she's working on in her consulting capacity.

Any way to see the workplan?

Comment by Mark Melnyk on December 4, 2015 at 11:14am

Was Paula Hammond's request related to Kathy J's request two weeks ago for all star employers?

We're continuing to jostle the agenda around. We're now moving on to the 1 p.m. item, the board's work plan. Unfortunately, this document is not available on the website yet. It will be sent to the board after the meeting.

Hi Jamie, it will be sent to the board as soon as possible. Hopefully, I'll be able to post it to the site in short order as well.

Hi Mark, that's a good question. My first thought as that the two requests are not related, but I'll verify that for you.

Kristina: I would support moving to a bimonthly meeting schedule, with committees meeting in opposite months. We'd discussed it before, but I don't know whether we landed on an answer.

Alexandra/KJ: This was developed with the existing work plan in mind, but it can be adjusted based on any determination the board makes as to its meeting schedule.

KJ: We have a few other "parking lot" issues that the board ought to revisit to see whether you want to incorporate them into the plan.

Joyce: It would great if we could see the list of those issues- it's been a while since we moved them to "parking lot" status, so we should ensure we're not missing any of those.

Brian: If anyone has issues they'd like to put up for consideration for the plan, now's the time to put them out there.

Ted: Should our work plan address all the work associated with moving to an all-trips program?

Brian: Based on insights he's heard from others, we should be sure we can demonstrate tangible benefits of such a program before we begin to integrate it into the work plan.

Joyce: I'd like to see something that incorporates our coordination with the TAG in the work plan, if it's not already reflected somewhere.

Alexandra: Another element of the work plan: we've incorporated some time for analysis of the outcomes of the looming legislative session.

Brian: I think we can safely assume the 2016 session will not be as long as this year's.
