Thank you for your patience while we worked with Secretary Peterson and others to make a few final adjustments to the draft Washington Public Transportation Plan. As of this morning, we have published the public review draft and are starting the next phase of public engagement on the plan!
The public review draft is available online (WATransPlan.com) and will be open for public comment from now until January 5. During the next two months, WSDOT planners, community liaisons, communicators and others will be making presentations, posting on social media, issuing press releases and more to reach out and engage the public in conversation about Washington’s transportation future.
We invite you, other stakeholders and the public to review the plan, contact us with feedback, engage us in conversation, and share with others. We are looking forward to hearing your thoughts and continuing to improve the state’s public transportation plan.
All comments/feedback can be submitted via phone (206.462.6357) or email (ShannSa@consultant.wsdot.wa.gov). When the public review period ends at close of business on Tuesday, January 5, we will need to stop taking comments on the draft plan so we can finalize and publish it. However, plan implementation starts in January. We welcome continued comments and engagement after January 5 and will share public and stakeholder comments and ideas with teams implementing the plan.
