Our state’s Commute Trip Reduction (CTR) program is an established, successful approach for addressing congestion. To build on that success, we seek your input for demand-management strategies and services that extend beyond the CTR program’s traditional focus.
Non-work, off-peak and weekend travel.
Travel to non-traditional CTR worksites (seasonal or shift employees, smaller employers, etc.).
Event travel (concerts, sports, fairs, festivals, religious services, etc.).
How can CTR concepts be applied to other trips in and around your community?
What options for non-commute trips are you already exploring in your community?
What innovation(s) or idea(s) would you like to develop and implement?
We’re excited to hear how your ideas could meet the needs of your local program. Once we get your feedback, we hope to work with you to develop ways you can test these demand-management methods in and around your communities.
Please fill out the attached form and return it to Sharilyn Howell by the end of the day on Tuesday, June 27 (subject line: CTR innovations)
